IHCO Pyrowatt high watt dnesity cartridge heaters are swaged through dies built to our specifications to ensure close compacting of all components and maintain tolerances subject to our critical quality control. IHCO cartridge heaters will sustain a normal service life in almost all industrial or commercial environments.

APPLICATION

Cartridge heaters heat metal parts by conduction. They are installed in reamed holes in the following applications:

   • Molds
   • Platens
   • Hot stamping machines

Other applications include:
   • Packaging machines
   • Photocopy machines
   • Glue machines

They are considered immersion heaters when they heat liquids, as in:
   • Hot water Heaters
