- Air-cooling has been proven the most economical method of cooling
- Air-cooling is the most trouble-free method of cooling
- Air-cooled heating elements are less costly than water-cooled heating elements
- Air-cooled elements have a longer service life
- Air-cooling eliminates water leaks and contamination
- Air-cooling eliminates the need for water pipes
- No heat exchanger is required with air-cooling
- Air-cooled elements are easy to install

- Ceramic heating elements (maximum temperature 1000° F) – 30WSI
- Mica heating elements (maximum temperature 800° F) – 25WSI
- Finned cast-in heating elements (maximum temperature 850° F) – 40WSI
