Ceramic-Insulated Standard Construction Band Heater
Introduction
Ceramic-Insulated Band Heaters were patented by the founder of Industrial Heater Corp., L. E. Steiner. They were designed and manufactured as laboratory heaters for use in research and development at E.I. DuPont and Monsanto, and continue to be specified for research projects in many companies.
Recognizing the many advantages of ceramic-insulated heaters, many OEM customers include them as standard components. Ceramic-insulated heaters are found on the majority of injection molding machines worldwide.

- Withstands environments up to 1200ºF at 50 WSI (mica withstands up to 800ºF)
High dielectric strength, superior to other insulation at over 300 volts
